Charley laughed, "Old hag? That's nice." he joked. "I'm sure your younger brother is cool, but not as cool as you." he said sweetly, his cheeks pink. "And who really cares about proper? Proper is boring." he said with a grin.

[Sarafina]

Sarafina smiled as her face flushed. "Aw you're the greatest!" she said hugging him yet again and kissing him on the cheek. "Yeah that's true. But Old Hag is constantly bothering me about not having a boyfriend." she said glaring at the ground. She brightened a moment after "But I have one now!" she said wrapping her arms around his neck.

Charley smiled and nervously hugged her back, he wasn't used to close contact with girls... "Uhh, thanks, I guess." he said with a small chuckle. "Why did she want you to have a boyfriend so badly?" he asked her curiously.

[Sarafina]

Sarafina smiled brightly at him and giggled a little bit. She looked serious for a moment as she thought. "She's thinks it will breed me into a good wife. She's one of those 'Women are supposed to be good wives and mothers' types." Sarafina said sticking out her tounge. "I think it's stupid."

[charley]

Charley laughed and nodded, "I agree." he said, a smile on his face, "I think girls should be able to do what they want, and screw marriage unless they want to." He paused for a moment and looked down at her, not saying anything. His mind was off somewhere else...

[Sarafina]

Sarafina nodded in agreement with what Charley said. "Not to mention hearing her complain gets really REALLY old after a while." she said scowling slightly. "It's constantly stopping me on the way out of the house and being like 'SARAFINA YOU CAN'T GET A PROPER MAN TO MARRY YOU WEARING THAT!'" she said bitterly. She shook it off and looked at Charley to see him looking at her. Her cheeks flushed as she looked back at him.

Charley laughed, "She sounds wonderful." he said sarcastically, smiling sympathetically. "I think what you're wearing is fine." he tried to reassure her with a small grin, blushing.

[Sarafina]

"Oh yes. She's simply a joy to be around." Sarafina said sarcastically. She rolled her eyes and chuckled slightly. Her face turned a bright pink when she heard Charley. "Thanks." she said looking at him and smiling brightly. Her eyes were a light pinkish color now and she began to fiddle with her hands again.

Charley smiled back, "Your eyes are pretty." he said, then his face turned pink and he looked down, wincing at how cheesy that must have sounded, "I mean, it's pretty how they change color." he explained, feeling dumber by the second.

[Sarafina]

Sarafina's face changed from red to pink quickly. "Thanks." she said smiling widely at Charley. She looked at him for a second before smiling a little wider. "You're cute when you blush." she said with her face and eyes still a pink color.

Charley blushed even more before he could stop himself, "T-thanks." he stuttered, starting to fiddle with the sleeve of his hoodie. "Err... I think." he added, almost as an afterthought, biting his lip nervously.

[Sarafina]

Sarafina smiled seeing Charley blush more. She giggled slightly. "It's a good thing." she said smiling brightly at him. She reached for his hand and laced her fingers with his. "So what do you want to do now?" she asked looked back to him curiously.

[charley]

Charley shrugged, shivering a bit as she held his hand, "I don't know..." he said lamely. "Take a walk?" he suggested, hitting himself mentally for being so boring.

Sarafina raised an eyebrow carefully at him when he shivered. "Are you okay?" she asked slightly letting go of his hand.
She smiled lightly at him. "That would be nice. It's a nice day." she said closing her eyes and taking a long inhale and then exhale. She stood up and smiled at him.

Charley gave her a confused look, then his eyes widened as she let go of his hand, "Oh, no! I'm fine!" he said, slapping himself mentally, "I was just... Err... just a bit chilly." he lied, giving her a sheepish grin and rubbing his arms as if to warm them up.

He got up, too, and stood next to Sarafina, smiling, "It is nice." he said, watching her and smiling even more at her obvious happiness.
